I grew up loving sci-fi movies, books and drawing, and I’m fascinated with the process of creating worlds and environments for people to be in, where stories and lives can unfold.

I entered architecture with an ambition, not necessarily to build houses specifically, but to be able to work creatively on projects to do with visual and physical expression, which in turn has lead to work in both architecture and the film industry.

Working across different creative fields, for me, is a way to meet all walks of life and see something you'd made go up fast and dirty in a commercial, as well as experiencing the long and meticulous process involved when creating larger buildings.

I like aspects of both processes, finding great satisfaction in both expediency and thoroughness. I feel the same whooping joy seeing a large building being built, as I do seeing life size toy cars roll out of the workshop for a commercial. It has to do with being involved in creating something that is far bigger than yourself, and knowing that somewhere in there are details, that wouldn't have been just so, were it not for your having been there along the way.

In 2008 I returned to Denmark after several years abroad, wanting to have a more permanent home and to be closer to family and lifelong friends. I’m currently based in Copenhagen, collaborating on a variety of projects.
